Accessibility statement

Standard we use

Public pages are designed against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, and in line with the Americans with Disabilities Act as it applies to our public website. We do not claim a completed VPAT, a third-party audit badge, or perfect conformance on every page at every moment.

What we implement

• Semantic HTML and server-rendered public copy
• A skip link to main content
• Visible focus states and keyboard-operable navigation
• Text alternatives on images
• Color contrast aimed at WCAG AA
• Respect for reduced-motion preferences where animation is used
• Forms with labels and understandable errors, as those forms launch
• Cookie choices available as buttons, not color alone

Known limits

• Some photographs are still-life placeholders of pens, paper, and envelopes. They include captions; they are not pictures of specific customers or scribes.
• Authenticated product areas (/app, /scribe, /admin) are shells in this phase and are not offered as a complete accessible application yet.
• Third-party fonts and Cloudflare delivery are outside our full control.

Compatibility

We test on current evergreen browsers and on a phone-sized viewport. We aim to support assistive technologies that work with those browsers. If a particular combination blocks you, tell us.
